4People.org

4People.org is an online health and human services database that provides county specific information and referral services statewide for at risk families. A single list of resources with phone numbers and websites is provided for each county and a searchable database can be used to find more comprehensive information. There are nearly 3600 services listed for the state with nearly 900 in Benton County and over 800 in Franklin County.

American Fact Finder

The U.S. Census Bureau maintains the American Fact Finder which is useful for finding population, housing, economic, and geographic data for any community in the U.S.

Benton-Franklin Council of Governments

Benton-Franklin Council of Governments serves as the Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO) for the jurisdictions within Benton, Franklin, and Walla Walla Counties in southeastern Washington State. They also serve as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Tri-Cities area. You may view the 2006 - 2025 Regional Transportation Plan to get an idea of planned road construction projects in the Tri-Cities.

Oregon Housing and Community Services

Low-income Oregonians in need of emergency housing and/or food may contact Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) who works in partnership with local Community Action Agency Centers and Food Banks to help provide these and other services. Also, Oregon Helps is an online program to determine potential eligibility for 33 programs and assistance. In addition, a list of local resources by county is available.

Tri-City Development Council

Tri-Cities - Welcome

The Tri-City Herald, in conjunction with the Tri-City Development Council, has published a Welcome to the Tri-Cities guide that is primarily targeted to those seeking employment opportunities.
